Rich Edson(born August 2, 1981, inRidgewood, New Jersey) is the State Department Correspondent forFox News Channeland a former Washington Correspondent forFox Business Network.[1]

He holds a Master of Science in journalism fromColumbia University Graduate School of JournalisminNew York, New Yorkand a dual degree in history and journalism from Rutgers College ofRutgers UniversityinNew Brunswick, New Jersey.During his college years, Edson announced Rutgers sports onWRSU-FMand interned forSaturday Night Live.Edson grew up inDumont, New Jersey[2]and attendedDumont High School,where he met his future wife as a member of the marching band.[3]
