Robyn Stevanis aCanadianactress.She is best known for her role in the filmBye Bye Blues,for which she won theGenie AwardforBest Supporting Actressat the11th Genie Awardsin 1990.[1]

Stevan developed an interest in acting in her last two years atSeaquam Secondary SchoolinDelta, British Columbia.[1]After that, she shifted her attention from her previous interests ofrhythmic gymnasticsand a possible career in medicine. She began studying a general arts curriculum at theUniversity of British Columbiabut left school to go to Japan to work onRice Curry,a production ofFuji TV.She has appeared in the filmsThe Stepfather(1987),Captive Hearts(1987) andPaint Cans(1994).[2]

Stevan's performance inThe Squamish Fivebrought her the Best Actor Award from theAtlantic Film Festival.[3]
