Ross Prairie State Forestis a 3,527-acre state forest inMarion County, Florida.[1]The conservation land was acquired in 1995 through the Conservation and Recreation Lands (CARL) with funds from the Preservation 2000 Act.[1]It includes hiking and horseback trails.[1]There is also a trailhead for theCross Florida Greenway.[2]
