Ruth Paleyis anEnglishhistorianandauthor.

She has worked atThe National ArchivesinKew,London,where she has written several books.[1]She is currently working for theHistory of Parliament Truston the House of Lords from 1660 to 1832.[2]Since 2006, she has been editor ofArchives,the journal of theBritish Records Association.
