Rynalea Whiteman Penais an American politician and tribal leader. She served as a member of theMontana House of Representativesfrom the 41st district.[1]Elected in November 2020, she assumed office on January 4, 2021.

Early life and education[edit]

Whiteman Pena was raised inLame Deer, Montana.She earned an associate of arts degree in early childhood education fromChief Dull Knife College.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Prior to entering politics, Whiteman Pena worked as a transportation manager and tribal president of theNorthern Cheyenne Tribe.She was elected to theMontana House of Representativesin November 2020 and assumed office on January 4, 2021, succeedingRae Peppers.[3][4]
