Samuel Mbugua(born 1 January 1946) is a retiredboxerfromKenya,who won the bronze medal in thelightweightdivision (– 60 kg) at the1972 Summer OlympicsinMunich,West Germany.In the semifinals he was defeated byPoland's eventual gold medalistJan Szczepański(walk-over).
