The Sanna is formed nearTobadillby the confluence of the rivers Rosanna[ceb;cs;da;de;fr;nl;pl;sh;sv] (42 km (26 mi), fromArlbergand the valleyStanzertal[ceb;de;nl;sv]) and Trisanna[ceb;da;de;fr;nl;pl;sv] (31 km (19 mi), fromSilvrettaandPaznaun). It flows into the Inn at the small town ofLandeck. It is 7.1 kilometres (4.4 mi) long. Its basin area is 727 km2(281 sq mi).[1]The villagesPiansandGrinsare situated at its waterfront.

Thewhitewaterriver is used forkayakingand was the site of the 1996 world championships.[citation needed]
