Santa Gertrudesis a municipality in the state ofSão PauloinBrazil.The population is 27,381 (2020 est.) in an area of 98.3 km².[2]The elevation is 595 m.
History
[edit]The municipality was created by state law in 1948.[3]
Media
[edit]In telecommunications, the city was served byCompanhia Telefônica Brasileirauntil 1973, when it began to be served byTelecomunicações de São Paulo.[4]In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted theVivobrand in 2012.[5]
The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable).[5]

[edit]The Catholic church in the municipality is part of theRoman Catholic Diocese of Piracicaba.[6]
Protestant Church
[edit]The most diverse evangelical beliefs are present in the city, mainlyPentecostal,including theAssemblies of God in Brazil(the largest evangelical church in the country),[7][8]Christian Congregation in Brazil,[9]among others. These denominations are growing more and more throughout Brazil.
