Santiam people

TheSantiam peopleare anindigenous people of the Northwest Plateau,living inOregon.[1]

They are aKalapuyantribe, whose traditional homelands were on the banks of theSantiam River,which feeds into theWillamette River.[1]

Today, they are enrolled in theConfederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community[1]and theConfederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.
