According to the2010 census,the population was 551.[3]TheSchenevus Central School districtcovers the towns of Maryland,Westford,Milford,DecaturandRoseboom.TheSchenevus CarouselandTwentieth Century Steam Riding Gallery No. 409are listed on theNational Register of Historic Places.[4]
New York State Route 7runs through the center of Schenevus, andInterstate 88passes just to the south, serving the CDP via exit 18.
Schenevus was an incorporatedvillagefrom 1870 to 1994.[1][2]
