Schmerikon railway station(German:Bahnhof Schmerikon) is arailway stationsituated in themunicipality of Schmerikonin theSwisscanton of St. Gallen.It is located next to the shore ofOberseeon theRapperswil to Ziegelbrücke line.[5][1]

The station is served bySt. Gallen S-BahnservicesS6,which operates south-east toSchwandenviaZiegelbrückeand westward toRapperswil,andS17,which operates between Rapperswil andSargansvia Ziegelbrücke. Both these lines run hourly, combining to provide a half-hourly service to Rapperswil and Ziegelbrücke.

The next railway station to the west is nowBlumenau,but until 2004 it used to beBollingen.Until December 2023, the station was served by the inter-regionalVoralpen Express,which linksLucerneandSt. Gallen.
