Sebring station(also known as theOld Sebring Seaboard Air Line Depotand theSeaboard Air Line Passenger Station) is a train station inSebring, Florida,United States. It is currently served byAmtrak,the national railroad passenger system. Located on East Center Avenue, the station was constructed in 1924 by theSeaboard Air Line Railway.Approaching the transfer of passenger services to Amtrak, the station was used by theSeaboard Coast Line Railroadfor theSilver Meteor,Silver Starand thePalmland.The latter train ended in 1971, while theSilver MeteorandSilver Starremain operated by Amtrak to the present.[6][7]Amtrak trains formerly using the station included theFloridian,Palmetto,Sunset Limitedand the short-lived intrastate Tampa-MiamiSilver Palmservice.

On March 16, 1990, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
