Seikphyu[1](Burmese:ဆိပ်ဖြူ) is the principal town and administrative seat forSeikphyu TownshipinPakokku Districtin theMagway DivisionofMyanmar,on the right (western) bank of theIrrawaddyimmediately below its confluence with theYaw River.It is located across theIrrawaddyriver fromChaukand is connected byAnawrahta Bridge.[2]It is situated 34 kilometers south-south-west of ancientBaganCity and 44 kilometers fromNyaung U Airport.
