Etymology[edit]
InFranklin and Jackson'sPlan of Singapore(1830), the place nameSenokowas found and referred to the "River Simko" orSungei SenokoinMalay.The river is now merged into Sungei Sembawang, which currently has the mouth of the former Sungei Senoko.
