TheSerbian Left(Serbian:Левица србије,ЛС / Levica Srbije, LS) was a minorcentre-leftsocial democraticpolitical party inSerbia.In April 2019 the Serbian Left merged intoDragan Đilas'sParty of Freedom and Justice(SSP).

History

The Serbian Left was founded byBorko Stefanovićas a splinter from theDemocratic Party.[1]

In the2017 Serbian presidential election,the Serbian Left supported "either Janković or Jeremić".[2]

An attack on its leader Stefanović in late 2018 was instrumental in kicking offmajor protestsaround the country.[3]

It merged into the center-leftParty of Freedom and Justiceformed by formerMayor of BelgradeDragan Đilasin April 2019.[4]
