Shahinlal Meloly(born 15 May 1990) is an Indian professionalfootballerwho plays as agoalkeeperforChennai City F.C.in theI-League.
Career
[edit]Born inCalicut,Kerala,Meloly started his footballing career withViva Keralaas a youth player in 2008.[2]He then signed forPune F.C.of theI-Leaguein 2011.[1]Then, in October 2011, Meloly gained fame when he was praised by formerBlackburn RoversmanagerSteve Keanafter Pune took on thePremier Leagueside in a friendly at theBalewadi Sports Complex.[3]Kean said of Meloly that "He was brave. I think he pulled off a triple block at one stage. He is one the club should keep an eye on."[3]
On 19 December 2014, he signed for I-League newcomersBharat FC.[4]
