Shane Laloata(born 8 December 1977) is a professionalrugby footballplayer. He representedSamoainrugby league.

Rugby League career[edit]

Playing career[edit]

In 1999 Laloata was with theNewcastle Knights,and played in theNSWRL Premier League.[2]He then moved to the North-Nelson Bay Marlins in theNewcastle Rugby Leaguein 2000.[3]

In 2002 Laloata played for theSt. George Illawarra Dragonsin theNational Rugby League.He played for the KnightsNSWRL Premier Leagueside in 2003.[4]

Representative career[edit]

Laloata played forSamoain the2000 World Cup.

Rugby union career[edit]

By 2005 Laloata had switched torugby union,and was playing for theWarringah Rugby Clubin theTooheys New Cup.[5]

He moved to theNewcastle and Hunter Rugby Unioncompetition in 2007, before heading north to Brisbane in 2008.[6]However he returned to Newcastle in 2009, playing for Nelson Bay before switching to Merewether Carlton in 2010.[7]
