Shmuel Moreh(Hebrew:שמואל מורה;December 22, 1932 – September 22, 2017)was aprofessorof Arabic Language and Literature at theHebrew University of Jerusalemand a recipient of theIsrael PrizeinMiddle Eastern studiesin 1999.In addition to having written many books and articles dealing with Arabic literature in general and Iraqi Jewish Arabic literature in particular, he has been a major contributor toElaph,the first online daily independent journal in theArabic language.Professor Moreh wrote in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.
