Shmuel Moreh(Hebrew:שמואל מורה;December 22, 1932 – September 22, 2017)[1]was aprofessorof Arabic Language and Literature at theHebrew University of Jerusalemand a recipient of theIsrael PrizeinMiddle Eastern studiesin 1999.[2]In addition to having written many books and articles dealing with Arabic literature in general and Iraqi Jewish Arabic literature in particular, he has been a major contributor toElaph,the first online daily independent journal in theArabic language.Professor Moreh wrote in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.
