Foreign relations between theRepublic of KoreaandUruguaywere established in 1964. South Korea has an embassy inMontevideo.[1]Uruguay has an embassy inSeoul.[2]

Both countries are members of theGroup of 77.[3]

South Korea is also an important trading partner for Uruguay.[4][5]
