TheSouthern Mindoro(South Mangyan) languages are one of two small clusters ofAustronesian languagesspoken by theMangyanpeople ofMindoro Islandin the Philippines.[1]They make up a branch of theGreater Central Philippine subgroup.[2]

The languages areBuhid,Tawbuid,andHanuno'o.

These are among the few languages of the Philippines which continue to be written inindigenous scripts,though mostly for poetry.
