South West Coach Linesis a bus and coach operator inSouth West Western Australia.It is a subsidiary of theAustralian Transit Group.
History
[edit]South West Coach Lines was founded in 1977 by David and Lenita Adams. In January 1986, it commenced operating theBunbury City Transitservice (since renamed TransBunbury). In November 2007 the business was purchased byVeolia Transport[1]and in July 2013 became part ofTransdev Australasia.
It operates express coach services, school services and bus charters.
In December 2009, South West Coach Lines commenced operating three services inBusseltonunder the TransBusselton brand under contract with thePublic Transport Authority.[2]Upon being re-tendered, the routes passed toSwan Transitfrom 1 January 2015.[3][4][5]
South West Coach Lines operate 14 school services and express coach services connectingPerthwith various destinations inSouth West Western Australia.[4][6]
Since late 2014, South West Coach lines has been owned byAustralian Transit Group.[7][8]
Fleet
[edit]As at September 2013, the TransBusselton fleet consists of 22 buses.[9]As at May 2014, the South West Coach Lines fleet consists of 42 buses and coaches.[10]
