Stephan Krüger(born 29 November 1988,Rostock) is a German rower.

He was part of the German quadruple sculls team at the2008 Summer Olympics,withRené Bertram,Hans GruhneandChristian Schreiber.[1]The team finished in 6th.

In 2009, he won the gold medal in the men's double sculls withEric Knittelat the2009 World Championships.[2]

In 2011, Krüger and Gruhne won silver in the men's double sculls at theWorld Championshipsin Bled.[3]

At the2012 Summer Olympics,he competed in the men's double sculls with Eric Knittel, finishing in 9th.[4]

At the2016 Summer OlympicsinRio de Janeiro,he competed inmen's double scullswith teammateMarcel Hacker.[5]They finished in 8th place.[6]Hacker and Krüger had won silver in the event at the2016 European Championshipson home water in Brandenburg, after winning the event at the2015 European Championships.[7][8]Krüger had also won bronze in the event with Gruhne in2014.[9]
