This superfamily was established by Clopton in 2009.[1]

Description

Species in this taxon infectinsects.

Syzygyis frontal or frontolateral.

Thegametocystsform an epicyst (ectocyst).

The epicyst may rupture or dissolve.

Thesporocystsare released either singly or in chains.
