Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport(IATA:BMU,ICAO:WADB), also known asBima Airport,[1]is a public airport located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the south of the city ofBima,on the island ofSumbawa,West Nusa Tenggara,Indonesia.
The airport was previously known asPalibelo Airport(IATA:PBW,ICAO:WRRB); however, that name was discontinued by IATA[2]when the airport was renamed after Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin, the last king of theBima Sultanate.
