Suzu Suzuki(Linh quý すず,Suzuki Suzu,born September 16, 2002)is a Japaneseprofessional wrestlercurrently signed toWorld Wonder Ring Stardom.[3]She is best known for her time inIce RibbonandPure-J,two Japaneseprofessional wrestling promotions.[4]

Suzuki is a former one-timeGoddesses of Stardom Championand one-timeArtist of Stardom Championand the winner of the2023 5 Star Grand Prix.

Professional wrestling career[edit]

Ice Ribbon (2018–2022)[edit]

Suzuki made herprofessional wrestlingdebut atIce Ribbon's RibbonMania 2018 on December 31, 2018, where she picked up a victory against Asahi.[5]At Yokohama Bunka Gymnasium Final from August 9, 2020, Suzuki defeatedMaya Yukihito win theICE Cross Infinity Championship.[6]On January 23, 2021, Suzuki lost the ICE Cross Infinity Championship toTsukasa Fujimoto.[7]Suzuki's contract with Ice Ribbon expired at the end of 2021.[8]

Independent circuit (2018–present)[edit]

At the end of 2021, Suzuki aligned herself withMochi Miyagi,Risa Sera,Akane FujitaandHiragi Kurumiin theProminencestable after their contract withIce Ribbonexpired, leaving them to wander as freelance wrestlers.[8]On April 24, 2023, Suzuki announced that she was leaving Prominence.[9]

Pro Wrestling Wave (2020, 2022-2023)[edit]

Suzuki made herPro Wrestling Wavedebut on July 1, 2020 in atag team matchin which she andHaruka Umesakidefeated Ayumi Hayashi andCrea.[10]

Suzuki returned to Wave on February 13, 2022 in a tag team match where she andRisa SeradefeatedHibiscus MiiandYuki Miyazaki.[11]In May through July of 2022, Suzuki competed in the2022 Catch the Wavetournament.[12]She competed in Future Block qualifier block, in which she scored six points and advanced to the Winners Block. In her Winner Block, Suzuki scored four points, which allowed to advance to the finals. On July 17, Suzuki won the tournament and became theWave Single Championby defeatingMiyuki Takasein the finals.[13]On August 14, Suzuki lost the Wave Single Championship toHikaru Shida.[14]

World Wonder Ring Stardom (2022–present)[edit]

Suzuki made her first appearance inWorld Wonder Ring Stardomat its firstpay-per-viewof 2022,Nagoya Supreme Fight,on January 29, whereProminencepicked a fight with theDonna Del Mondostable, subsequently starting a feud with them, especially against the unit's leaderGiulia.[15]On the first night of theWorld Climax 2022on March 26, Suzuki teamed up with her Prominence stablemateRisa Serato defeat Donna Del Mondo (MaikaandThekla).[16]On the second night of the event from March 27, she teamed up with her stablematesAkane Fujita,Mochi Miyagiand Risa Sera in a losing effort against Donna Del Mondo (Giulia,Himeka,Maika and Thekla).[17]AtNew Blood 2on May 13, Suzuki picked up a victory overMai Sakurai.[18]AtStardom in Showcase vol.1on July 23, she teamed up with Risa Sera to face Giulia and Mai Sakurai in ahardcore match,winning in a dominant fashion and continuing the Prominence/DDM feud.[19]Suzuki competed in the2022 Grand Prix,earning 15 points in the Blue Stars block, which was enough to reach the finals of her block on October 1, where she lost to Giulia.[20]AtDream Queendom 2on December 29, Suzuki teamed up with Risa Sera and Hiragi Kurumi and defeatedOedo Tai(Starlight Kid,Momo WatanabeandSaki Kashima) to win theArtist of Stardom Championship.[21]

In January through March of 2023, Suzuki teamed up with Prominence stablemates Hiragi Kurumi and Risa Sera to compete in theTriangle Blueblock of theTriangle Derby I.[22]On March 4, Prominence won the tournament by defeatingAbarenbo GEin the finals.[23]AtAll Star Grand Queendomon April 23, Prominence lost the Artist of Stardom Championship toREStart.[24]On April 30, Suzuki teamed up withMei Seirain a draw against Queen's Quest (AZMandSaya Kamitani).[25]Following this, Suzuki and Seira would continue to frequently team with each other and later started to go by the team name Crazy Star.[26]AtFlashing Champions 2023on May 27, Crazy Star teamed up with Maika to defeatNeo Stardom Army(Nanae TakahashiandYuna Mizumori) and Hanako.[27]Following this, Suzuki would continue to frequently team up with various members of Donna Del Mondo in tag team matches, especially Maika. In July through September, Suzuki competed in and won the2023 5Star Grand Prixby defeating Maika in the finals.[28]AtNagoya Golden Fighton October 9, Suzuki, Maika andMegan Bayneteamed up to challenge theBaribari Bombersfor the Artist of Stardom Championship.[29]During the match, there were several instances of miscommunication between Suzuki and Maika, which led to the Baribari Bombers winning.[29]In an after-matchpromo,Maika blamed Suzuki for the loss and promised to defeat Suzuki, which effectively meant the end of Suzuki teaming with Donna Del Mondo.[29]From October 15 to November 12, Crazy Star competed in the2023 Goddesses of Stardom Tag League.[30]They reached the finals, where they lost to Divine Kingdom (Maika and Megan Bayne).[26][31]

On March 30, 2024, Crazy Star won theGoddesses of Stardom Championshipby defeatingAphroditE.[32]On May 5, they lost the Goddesses of Stardom Championship toFWC.[33]
