Removal of line on Shi'a minority

[edit]

Why was the line about the Shi'a minority removed? I believe it's informational and necessary and had been present for every version of the article until this last edit. I'm reinserting it.—Precedingunsignedcomment added byUmar99(talkcontribs)18:04, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This section needs fixing. There’s no mention of the Ahmadiyya or Sufi minorities. Also, Muslims don’t speak Arabic. It’s only taught as a literary language when reading the Quran. Most Mauritians need translations to understand the text! On top of that, Urdu is at best a tertiary or quaternary language, neither the mother tongue nor ancestral language of any of them. Most spoke Bhojpuri, Awadhi or Gujarati2A00:23EE:1350:5F94:4091:5C7D:4FCD:C2D8(talk)04:58, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
