Tang Pao-yun(Chinese:Đường bảo vân;1944 – 14 May 1999) was a Taiwanese actress.

She was born in 1944,[1]and attended an acting school run by theCentral Motion Picture Corporation.[2]After ending her studies in 1961,[2]she appeared in her first films the next year. Tang was named best supporting actress at the 1962Asian Film Festival,[3]and wonthe same awardat thefirst Golden Horse Film Festival.[4]Tang's role inBeautiful Duckling(1965) was considered a breakout performance.[2][5]She would later co-star in other films alongsideOu Wei,namelyLove is an Elusive Wind(1972).[6]Soon afterBeautiful Duckling,another film directed byLi Hsingand starring Tang was released,Four Loves(1965).[5]Other notable credits includedOrchids and My Love(1966),[7][8]Remember Chu(1966),[9]andLonely 17(1967).[10]Later in her career, Tang appeared inExecution in Autumn(1972),[11]Fists for Revenge(1974),[12]andAll the King's Men(1983).[13]
