It includesNgāti Kuia,Rangitāne,Ngāti TūmatakōkiriandNgāti Apa ki te Rā Tō(from theKurahaupōcanoe),Ngāti Koata,Ngāti RāruaandNgāti Toa(from theTainuicanoe), and Ngāti TamaandTe Atiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui(from theTokomarucanoe ofTaranaki).[1]
