This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under thespeedy deletion criteria,specificallyCSD A7.There is a separate template for each criterion – see the table to the right.
This template places the page into the categories:Candidates for speedy deletion,andCandidates for speedy deletion as importance or significance not asserted.
Usage
The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.
Parameters

- This is the most basic form of the template.

|bot=parameter to notify the reviewing admin that the page was tagged by an automated process.

- WhereTypeOfEntityis the type of subject the article is about (band, company, website, etc). Please ensure that the entity is one of those listed in theCSD criterion,and consider instead using one of the more specific templates listedbelow.Note that books, albums, software etc., orschools,are specifically not allowed under this criterion.
