The current data page links to theNetherlandsarticle, when many articles probably want instead to link to theKingdom of the Netherlands.The latter is the sovereign state; whereas the former is a European constituent country of the latter. I have partially reverted this. Please see the conventions atWikipedia:WikiProject Ships/Ensigns,where navalensignsare to be used withTemplate:Navy,and not navaljacks.The correct flag for{{navy|Netherlands}}is the national flag, which is also the ensign. —Andrwsc(talk·contribs)21:51, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not donePlease read the sections above. The consensus atWP:SHIPSis to use navalensignsnot navaljacks,and the naval ensign for the Netherlands is the national flag. (Many countries are like this - seeWP:WikiProject Ships/Ensigns). Remove these lines to remove flags as they are just based on the shades used in pictures in different editions of the CIA World Factbook and not are official or even real changes to the flag used by Netherlands, they should not be included and especially not linked to a specific year
There would be no errors of pages that use these files,which only a singlepagedoes, which I have tested and which auto-corrects if this would be changed
