Starting point

Is there any reason why this template starts with Empire under "House of Hohenzollern"? Just thinking it's *extremely* incomplete and should include further "Kingdom of Germany" or not include the empire. SeeList of German monarchs Altanner1991(talk)21:29, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It used to start with them because from 1871 onwards, Germany actually was a unified nation state, and before it was not.Str1977 ^(talk)17:16, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
