Tendai Chisoro(born 12 February 1988) is a Zimbabweancricketerwho represents theZimbabwe national cricket team.He made his international debut for Zimbabwe against Afghanistan in October 2015.[1]
Domestic career
[edit]Chisoro was the leading wicket-taker in the2017–18 Logan CupforMid West Rhinos,with 28 dismissals in five matches.[2]He was also the leading wicket-taker for Mid West Rhinos in the2017–18 Pro50 Championshiptournament, with twelve dismissals in eight matches.[3]In December 2020, he was selected to play for theSouthern Rocksin the2020–21 Logan Cup.[4][5]
In 2022, Chisoro signed withSt Patricks Cricket Cluband has quickly become one of the most renowned names in regional cricket across Australia.
International career
[edit]Chisoro made hisOne Day International(ODI) debut for Zimbabweagainst Afghanistanon 16 October 2015.[6]He made hisTwenty20 Internationaldebut, also against Afghanistan, on 26 October 2015.[7]Along withSikandar Raza,they set the highest ninth-wicket partnership forZimbabwein ODIs, with 91not out.[8]
In October 2017, Chisoro was named in Zimbabwe'sTestsquad for their seriesagainst the West Indies.[9]He made his Test debut for Zimbabwe against theWest Indieson 29 October 2017.[10]
In June 2018, Chisoro was named in a Zimbabwe Select team for warm-up fixtures ahead of the2018 Zimbabwe Tri-Nation Series.[11]
