TheTerrier IR Platformis a modularopen sourcesoftware for the rapid development of large-scaleinformation retrievalapplications. Terrier was developed by members of theInformation Retrieval Research Group,Department of Computing Science, at theUniversity of Glasgow.
A core version of Terrier is available as open source software under theMozilla Public License(MPL), with the aim to facilitate experimentation and research in the wider information retrieval community.
