Tetsuya Fujii(Đằng tỉnh triết dã,Fujii Tetsuya;born 1960) is a Japaneseamateur astronomerand prolific discoverer of minor planets.[2]
From 1988 to 1992, he had discovered a total of 22 numbered asteroids together with his colleague,Kazuro Watanabe,at theKitami Observatoryin the Kitami-Abashiri Region Cultural Centre in easternHokkaidō,Japan, where several amateur astronomers have been conducting an active program ofastrometricobservations of minor planets and comets.[1][3]He is director of the astronomical club in Kitami, where he also works for the NHK broadcasting office.[2]
The minor planet4343 Tetsuya,discovered bySeiji UedaandHiroshi Kanedain 1988, was named in his honour.[2]
