Thad Busby(born November 25, 1974) is a formerAmerican footballquarterback.He playedcollege footballfor theFlorida State Seminolesand played professionally in theRegional Football League(RFL) andArena Football League(AFL).

Biography

Busby attendedPace High SchoolinPace, Florida,and was then drafted by theToronto Blue Jaysin the fourth round of the1993 Major League Baseball Draft,but did not sign.[1]He attendedFlorida State University,[2]where he played both football and baseball and compiled a 19-2 record as the Seminoles' starting quarterback in 1996-97.[3]

After his college career, he was also a member of theSan Francisco 49ersandCleveland Brownsof theNational Football League(NFL),[4][5]but did not make a regular season roster. He did play in the short-livedRegional Football Leaguein 1999 for theMobile Admirals,[6]and in theArena Football Leaguefor theTampa Bay Stormin 2000.[7][8]
