Theilin Phanbuhis an Indian social worker and the chairperson of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women (MSCW).[1][2]Born on 13 April 1946 inShillongin the Northeast Indian state ofMeghalaya,[3]she is reported to have been actively involved with the socio-cultural milieu of the state,[4][5]especially in cases where women's rights are challenged[6][7]and delivers lectures on the topic.[8]The Government of India awarded her the fourth highest civilian honour of thePadma Shri,in 2005, for her contributions to Indian society.[9][10]
