Thomas Konrad(born 5 November 1989) is a German former professionalfootballerwho played as acentre-back.
Career[edit]
On 13 July 2014, Konrad appeared as a trialist forDundeein their pre-season fixture againstManchester City,[citation needed]doing enough to impress managerPaul Hartleywho expressed a desire to offer the player a contract.[3]He and his compatriotLuka Tankulićsubsequently signed two-year contracts with Dundee in July 2014.[4]Konrad leftDens Parkat the end of the2015–16 season.[5]
After playing forFC Vaduzand several German teams, Konrad signed withRegionalliga SüdwestsideFSV Frankfurtin June 2021.[6]At the end of the season, Konrad officially announced his retirement from professional football.[7][8]In May 2022,1899 Hoffenheimconfirmed that Konrad had joined the club as an youth coach and youth scout.[9]
