Club career

[edit]Having joined the youth academy ofClub Bruggein 2012, Persyn signed forInter Milanin summer 2018, aged 16.[2]
Loans to Club Brugge and Westerlo
[edit]In July 2021, he returned to Club Brugge of theBelgian First Division Aon a season-long loan with the option to make the loan permanent.[3][4]He made his professional debut on 15 August 2021, coming on as an 87th-minute substitute forClinton Matain a 4–0 league win againstZulte Waregem.[5]Persyn's first goal for the club came on 22 August 2021 in the 55th minute of a 3–2 win againstBeerschot.[6]
On 27 January 2022, Brugge andWesterloagreed that Persyn will join Westerlo until the end of the season.[7]
FC Eindhoven
[edit]On 22 July 2022, Persyn joinedEerste DivisieclubFC Eindhovenon a season-long loan.[8]
On 15 July 2023, Persyn rejoined Eindhoven, this time on a permanent transfer.[9]
International career
[edit]Persyn has represented Belgium atunder-15,under-17,under-18andunder-19levels.[10]He made 3 appearances for Belgium at the2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championshipand 4 appearances at the2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[11]
