Tintilinić

Tintilinić(alternativelyPimpilić,[1]TintilinorMalik) is a figure in Croatian folklore. He is typically described as a demon[2]child wearing a red cap,[3]soul of an unbaptised child which strolls through houses at night.[4]

The legend is typically recorded on theCroatian coast,as well as amongBurgenland Croatsin Austria. The folk character has been popularized byIvana Brlić-Mažuranićin herTales of Long Ago,published in 1916.[5]
