Tochigi Television(とちぎテレビ,Tochigi Terebi),also known asGYT,is atelevision networkheadquartered inTochigi Prefecture,Japan.[1]It is a member of theJapanese Association of Independent Television Stations(JAITS).[2]The government of Tochigi prefecture hold half stock share of GYT.[3]
Tochigi Television is the last analog terrestrial TV station in Japan; it started broadcasting in April 1, 1999.[4]Tochigi TV started digital terrestrial television broadcasting in December 1, 2005.[5][6]
