Tom Bischof(born 28 June 2005) is a German professionalfootballerwho plays as amidfielderforBundesligaclubTSG Hoffenheim.He will join Bundesliga clubBayern Munichon 1 July 2025.
Club career
[edit]Bischof joined the youth academy ofTSG Hoffenheimon 2015, and he made his professional debut for the senior team in theBundesligaon 19 March 2022 in the 3–0 away loss match againstHertha BSC.[3]
On 21 January 2025, Bischof agreed to joinBayern Munichafter the2024–25 seasonconcludes, when his contract with TSG Hoffenheim expires, signing a four-year contract through June 2029 once he becomes a free agent.[1]
On 30 January 2025, Bischof scored his first ever goal inEuropean competitions,in a 4–3 victory overAnderlechtin the2024–25 UEFA Europa Leagueleague phase, also assisting.[4]
International career
[edit]Bischof has played internationally for Germany atunder-16,under-17,under-18,under-19andunder-20levels.[5]
Playing style
[edit]He is left-footed and has been mainly deployed as abox-to-box midfielder,sometimes playing as anattacking midfielderor as awide midfieldermainly on the right side of the field.
