Trout Runis an 18.5-mile-long (29.8 km)[1]tributaryof theCacapon River,belonging to thePotomac RiverandChesapeake Baywatersheds. The stream is located inHardy CountyinWest Virginia'sEastern Panhandle.Trout Run rises between Devils Hole Mountain andGreat North Mountainnear theVirginiastate line in theGeorge Washington National Forest.The stream empties into the Cacapon River atWardensville.[2]
