TheTur(Hungarian:Túr) is atributaryof the riverTisza.[2][3]Its sources are located in theOaș MountainsinRomania.The Tur starts at the confluence of itsheadwaters,theGorovaandTurișor.[4]It then flows throughSatu Mare Countyin Romania. The main towns on the Tur areNegrești-OașandTurulung.The river then forms the border between Romania andUkraineon a reach of 5.2 km (3.2 mi), and the border between Romania andHungaryfor 1.1 km (0.68 mi). The Tur joins the Tisza river nearSzatmárcsekein Hungary. Itsbasin sizeis 1,144 km2(442 sq mi).[5]: 22
