I tend to focus on maintenance tasks such as reviewing pages, removing copyvios, fixing POV and reverting censorship, as well as whatever else keeps me busy. I do much of my editing from work and will usually pick tasks I can complete easily before I get distracted, but every now and again I will try something more ambitious. I can be random, and I will probably bump into you. Please feel free to let me know if I've messed up, I want to improve!
Regarding my closes to move discussions: I have recently found closing move discussions to be a task I enjoy. I am still relatively new to it. After realizing the amount of disruption re-opening those discussions can cause, I have decided I will no longer be doing so unless I made a mistake or the close is labeled as a “technical request with minimal participation”. Please don’t ask unless you have a very good reason, and remember that “no consensus” closes mean a new discussion can occur anyways.
Wikipedia is a long-term project! Things are meant to move slowly around here. Take your time, and if you get frustrated, there are millions of other things to work on.
