Leonardo

[edit]

Hi Explorer! I've left you a message on theLeonardodiscussion page.. I hope you are finding your way around, alright! You need to create your user page as well as this talk page, which I have just created for you. Go to the top of this page and you'll find "user page" in red.

Also, since you are contributing to the Leonardo article, you have the option to "watch" it which means you can revert vandalism, and check changes to what you have added.

When you find vandalism, it's a good idea to look at the history of the article (see tab) because often a vandal will make two or three changes and if you only revert one of them, you can have a situation where a quarter of Fra Angelico's long life has gone missing (for example) and no-one notices for three months!

It's great to have someone astute checking up on the Leonardo facts. My Library was quite limited at the time I rewrote that article. It has expanded with some more reliable books than that little Life and Times book, but I certainly haven't bothered to check everything in detail. My strong point is the artworks, rather than the biographical details.

I think Machiavelli was a very clever man. He lived at a time when suits of libel were generally dealt with out of court and were paid in flesh and blood.

Have fun!Amandajm(talk)08:19, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
