Varun Beverages Limited(VBL) is an Indian multinational company that manufactures, bottles and distributes beverages. It is the largestbottling companyofPepsiCo's beverages in the world outside the United States and the largest in AMESA sector.[3][4]The company was incorporated in 1995 as a subsidiary of RJ Corp, and named after founderRavi Jaipuria's son.[5]

Apart fromcarbonated soft drinksof PepsiCo such asPepsi,7 Up,Mountain DewandMirinda,the company distributesTropicanaand TropicanaSlicefruit juice brands,Gatoradesports-themed beverages,Stingenergy drinks, Creambell milkshakes,Duke'sclub soda,Liptonready-to-drink ice tea, andAquafinabrand ofbottled water.[6][7][8] As of 2019, Varun Beverages is PepsiCo bottler in 27statesand 7union territoriesof India.[9]The company also manufactures and distributes its products inNepal,Sri Lanka,Morocco,Mozambique,Zambia,Zimbabwe,Democratic Republic of Congo,Madagascar,South Africa,Lesotho,Eswatini,NamibiaandBotswana.[10][11][12]

In 2022, VBL entered into an agreement to manufactureKurkurePuffcorn for PepsiCo India Holdings.[13]

In 2022, 70% volumes came from selling Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSDs), 23% volumes came from selling packages of drinking water, and the rest 7% volumes came from selling Non-Carbonated Beverages (NCBs). Sales volume has grown by 24% CAGR from FY2018-2022 with 81% of volume coming from India and the rest Internationally.[14]

In December 2023, Varun Beverages acquiredPepsico's South African bottler Bevco for ₹1,320 crore.[15]

In April 2024, Varun Beverages started manufacturing soft drinks at Gorakhpur facility[16]
