TheVatrakis a tributary of theSabarmati Riverwhich flows for 243 kilometers inGujarat,India.[1]It originates in the hills ofDungarpur,Rajasthanand enters in Gujarat near village Moydi ofMeghrajtaluka.[1]
Basin
[edit]Vatrak run parallel to theMahi River,[2]for about 29 km in Rajasthan, before entering theSabarkantha districtnear village Moyedi.[citation needed]It runs in the southwest direction of the district, joiningMazumriver near the district border withKheda.[1]Near Untadiya village, Vatrak river meets Zanzari river and theUtkanteshwar Mahadevtemple is located on thesangam(lit. 'confluence').[2]
The river joinsShedhiandMeshwonearKheda[2]and finally drains into Sabarmati at Vautha nearDholka.[2]
