TheVeerse GatorVeeregatwas the sea channel betweenWalcherenandNoord-Bevelandislands inZeelandin theNetherlands.In 1961 as part of theDelta Planit was blocked off by theVeerse Gatdamand made into an inland lake calledVeerse Meer.[1]
