Waimahana Bayis a bay and remote rural community in theFar North DistrictandNorthland Regionof New Zealand'sNorth Island.[1]

The community is centred around the Waimahana Marae and Te Puhi o Te Waka meeting house,[2]a tribal meeting ground of theNgāti Kahu ki WhangaroahapūofNgāti Aukiwaand theNgāpuhi / Ngāti Kahu ki WhaingaroahapūofNgāti Aukiwa.[3]Waimahana Bay lies in between two other bays that are equally beautiful, Omatā and Okokori Bay.
