Waldsea Lake[1]is a salt lake in the central part of theCanadian provinceofSaskatchewan,about 100 kilometres (62 mi) east ofSaskatoon,nearCarmel.The lake is partially saline with strong concentrations ofsodium,sulfate,magnesium,andchlorideions.[2]It is part of theterminalLenore Lake basin,which is within theCarrot Riverwatershed.[3]The Lenore Lake basin includes several other saline lakes, such asLenore,Basin,Middle, Frog, Ranch, Murphy, Flat, Mantrap, Houghton, and Deadmoose, as well as thefreshwaterSt. Brieux and Burton Lakes.[4]The basin has no natural outlet.[5][6]
